Quite simply, Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium mixes two of my favourite things – Cakes and Cats.
Lauren Pears brought the popular Japanese concept to Shoreditch in 2014, giving the UK its first cat cafe. The cafe is a stones throw away from exciting Brick Lane, and offers delicious cakes, light snacks, teas and coffees. They also over high tea for £35.
You have to book online to avoid disappointment. There is a £6 entrance fee -which is standard for a cat cafe – and you can enjoy up to 90 minutes in the cafe’s two floors.
Before you worry about hygiene, their ‘scores on the doors’ is a perfect five!
