Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is home to the Queen, Prince Phillip, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, his wife Sophie and their two children. It has been the official London residence of Britain’s sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch.

Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms. These include 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms.

The public are allowed through the state rooms which open for three months during the summer between July and September.
